Idaho Community Foundation

Idaho Community Foundation supports postsecondary education in Idaho through scholarship programs that serve students at multiple stages of the academic pipeline. Its scholarship activity reaches graduating high school seniors as well as college juniors, seniors, and graduate students, showing a statewide education focus that extends from college entry through advanced study.

A clear example is the Merritt Brook Scholarship, which opens on 3/1/2026 and closes on 5/1/2026. Through that program, Idaho Community Foundation offers up to $5,000 to graduating high school seniors from Blaine, Camas, Cassia, Gooding, Jerome, Lincoln, Minidoka, and Twin Falls counties in Idaho. The scholarship is open to students planning to attend a college or university in the U.S. and supports several education paths, including professional certification, 1-year certificate, associate degree, and bachelor’s degree programs. Eligibility includes a minimum 2.50 GPA and participation in community service or extracurricular activities.
