• This competition is open to women of Hispanic descent who have been residents of Colorado for at least 6 months and are U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens.
• Applicants must be between 18 and 22 years of age and enrolled or planning to enroll full-time at a college or university in Colorado.
• They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• During the Colorado State Fair Fiesta in June, they participate in the Queen Pageant, with the Queen and Attendants selected on the basis of personal interviews (30%), a 2- to 4-minute speech (30%), talent (20%), evening gown (10%), and an impromptu question (10%).
