• Applicants for this scholarship must be active or associate members of the association or their children or grandchildren (under the age of 26).
• Children, age 21 or under, of deceased members who were active and paid up at the time of their death are also eligible.
• Spouses are not eligible unless they are members of the association.
• ROTC members do not qualify as sponsors.
• Entering and continuing undergraduates must provide evidence of full-time enrollment at a regionally-accredited 4-year college or university, demonstrate leadership qualities, have earned a GPA of 3.3 or higher in high school and 3.0 or higher in college, have scored at least….
• Applicants for a master's degree must have earned a GPA of 3.2 or higher as an undergraduate; applicants for a doctoral degree must have received a master's degree or been accepted into a doctoral program.
• Selection is based on that essay, academic excellence, extracurricular activities and leadership, and letters of recommendation.
