New Jersey · 2026
New Jersey State Elks Association coordinates a statewide network of Elks activity in New Jersey, bringing together district, lodge, youth, veterans, scholarship, and special-needs programming under one state organization. Its work spans district structures including Central, East, North, South, West Central, and other regional divisions, and it maintains state-level committees and activities in Americanism, Drug Awareness, Government Relations, Ritual, Public Relations and Marketing, Veterans Programs, Youth Activities, and scholarship administration. The association also serves as a hub for statewide meetings, conferences, conventions, training, and communications, including the NJ Elk publication, a state calendar, officer training, TAM training, and a state book for the 2025–2026 year. The organization’s program portfolio is broad and concrete. It highlights Camp Moore as its State Major Project and identifies the camp as a camp for Special Children. It supports youth through named initiatives such as Buddy Ball, Hoop Shoot for boys and girls, Soccer, Batters Up, Tee It Up, the Youth Sports Tournament, and Antlers. It also advances educational support through scholarship opportunities including the Most Valuable Student Scholarship and ENF Scholarship information. Service to veterans and military families is another major priority, with Veterans Programs, a Homeless Veteran Project booklet, state runs benefiting veterans, and Army of Hope assistance for the families of military members. New Jersey State Elks Association also anchors a recurring statewide calendar of events. The site highlights the Elks Wildwood Reunion scheduled for June 5–7, 2025, Wildwood Reunion on June 4–6, 2026, a Youth Sports Tournament on June 29, 2026, and the Grand Lodge Convention in Chicago on July 5–8, 2026. Leadership and governance are visible through named officers and dignitaries, including State President William W. Dow, Jr., State Secretary Sue Dupas, and Past Grand Exalted Ruler Malcolm J. McPherson Jr. Together, these elements present an association focused on statewide coordination, member engagement, youth development, scholarships, support for veterans, and services for special children across New Jersey.
