Alamo Colleges Foundation

Alamo Colleges Foundation advances student access to higher education across the Alamo Colleges through donor-supported scholarships and student-centered engagement. Its scholarship program is structured around a single General Scholarship Application submitted once each academic year, allowing students to be considered automatically for all available Foundation Scholarship opportunities. That model positions the foundation as a central source of scholarship support for admitted and enrolled Alamo Colleges students who have an ACES email and want to compete for both merit-based and need-based aid.

For the 2026-2027 academic year, the foundation set a primary application period opening February 15, 2026 and closing May 15, 2026 for Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 awards. It also scheduled a limited reopening from September 1, 2026 through September 10, 2026 for remaining opportunities in the current academic year. Eligibility spans multiple factors, including academic merit, program of study, community service, extracurricular activities, residency, campus or club organization involvement, and financial need. Students seeking need-based scholarships must submit the 2026-2027 FAFSA or TASFA.
