Citrus County Coalition for College & Careers organizes college, career, and financial-aid guidance for students and families in Citrus County, with a site structure that spans Steps to College, Pathway Planning, College Planning Resources, FAFSA Help, State Scholarships & Bright Futures, and Local Scholarships. Its local scholarships work is built around a countywide audience that includes students from Citrus High School, Crystal River High School, Lecanto High School, the College of Central Florida, and WTC and other vocational schools.
The coalition’s scholarship offerings and guidance connect students to named awards with defined deadlines, award counts, and dollar amounts. On its local scholarships page, examples include the Rainbow Springs Art Scholarship, due April 30, 2026, with 2 awards of $1,500; the Citizens First Bank Scholarship, due May 7, 2026, with 1 award per Citrus County high school at $1,000; the Ray Darling Upward Bound Scholarship, due May 15, 2026, with 1 award of $1,500; and the GFWC Crystal River Woman’s Club award, due May 25, 2026, with 1 award of $1,000. The coalition also includes vocationally oriented opportunities such as the WTC GFWC Woman’s Club of Inverness scholarships for the 2025-2026 Fall Term and 2026-2027 Spring Term, each carrying a $1,000 award and including a female-student eligibility note on one listing.
