University of North Florida supports students’ educational financing through a structured scholarship program administered within Financial Aid and Scholarships. Its scholarship offerings are designed for UNF students and recognize multiple dimensions of student achievement and circumstance, including academic achievement, financial need, campus and community involvement, and leadership experience. The university organizes these opportunities into several distinct channels so students can identify awards tied to admission status, donor-supported funding, external opportunities, and department-based awards.

At UNF, the Office of Admissions offers scholarships for first-time-in-college and transfer students. These awards are made automatically based on qualifications and availability and do not require a separate scholarship application. The university also connects students with merit- and need-based support established by the UNF Foundation through the generosity of individuals, alumni, local philanthropists, nonprofit organizations, and corporations. In addition, academic and specialty scholarships are offered across campus by individual departments, each with its own awarding process.
